ONCE WHEN I WAS INTERVIEWING producer Dan Curtis he made me take a vow. He was then executive producer-director of Herman Wouk‘s War and Remembrance, the 18-hour 1988 miniseries for ABC. It was a credit he wasn’t likely to mumble.

Joe X Price recovering

Joe underwent life threatening colon cancer surgery July 11 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He’s recovering, albeit slowly. Says Doug: “He asked me to tell the Sime’s site gang that it won’t be long before he’s back at his typewriter. I took him to lunch today . . . “
